 The education scenario today has undergone radical changes
with the advant of technology. Irrespective of the sphere one
is working in a certain amount of perfection ins expected of
an individual at every step. But the time formal education finishes,
a young entrant into a wider world virtually finds herself quite
at sea. With the number of students that goes in for the grueling
entrance testes to B-schools, Mass Communication institutes
and other competitive fields, certain preparedness is a pre-requisite.
The college strongly believes in the wholesome growth of its
students and provides them every opportunity and facility to
exploit their sports and cultural talents thus playing the role
of a catayst in synergizing the efforts of its stakeholders.
We make it possible through active participation of girls at
all the levels. Be it the choice of courses, introduction of
new games or management policies, and the students enjoy democratic
liberty to contribute in a healthy manner. To keep the faculty
abreast of the ongoing advancement in the knowledge area, there
is no dearth of Faculty Development Programmes and an easy access
to newer courses. Our academic work culture focuses on the the
organization of workshop and seminars on various as we try to
act as a nodal unit of the instituion for augmenting quality
related activities. Each and every member of our family is participating
tirelessly in the creation of a learner-centric environment
conducive for quality education. With the co-operation of all
the sections of the institution, I see the day not very far
when SSD Girls College will copete only with itself.
I feel that college website has been an is serving the purpose
for which it was intended. Serving the people in providing higher
education to the girls by providing information about the courses
being offered and their practical efficacy, in the modern progressing
world this premier institute pledges itself to the service of
