About the college
Shri Sanatan Dharam Girls’ college, which was found in the year 1967Sanatan Dharam Sabha is now one of the best known colleges of Punjab. It is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. Situated in the heart of the city, it spreads over an area of 5 acres. It has seventeen lecture theaters, 3 triple storeyed hostels with a capacity to accommodate 300 students, excellent Home Science and Home Management Labs, a spacious and rich library equipped with 40000 books.
The main building has Administrative Block and Principal’s office along with magnificent Auditorium built with the latest acoustic technology. The college has Music Room, Seminar Room, Play Grounds, Well-trimmed and well tended sprawling lawns with different, varieties of flowers at their fringes. The college has a grand canteen providing snacks or tea to the students.
Being a premier institution of higher education for girls, the college enjoys a good reputation. It has well experienced and qualified staff and caring Managing Committee. The college aims at scaling new heights of progress and touching new zeniths of glory under Sh. Nand Lal Garg (Advocate) as President and Dt. P.K. Gupta, General Secretary of the Managing Committee of the college.
