The mission of Milkha Singh Educational Institute is to make
quality education affordable and accessible to the community,
to provide leadership in workforce training and support the
economic development of the region presuming that education
& development are closely related as brought about by
UNESCO as this region being the most educationally backward
area. 63% of the population is totally illiterate.
